Questions

Inventory FAQ

What does FEFO mean?

First Expiry, First Out. When stock is issued or transferred, LaSha picks the batch that expires soonest first, so less stock goes bad on the shelf.

Can I track stock at the store, kitchen and each outlet separately?

Yes. Each location has its own stock. Transfers from store to kitchen and kitchen to outlet move stock between them with a record of who sent and who received.

How do physical stock counts work?

Staff enter what they count. LaSha shows the system stock next to it with the difference in quantity and value, so you see gaps item by item.

Does purchase update the supplier ledger?

Yes. When goods are received against a purchase order, stock goes up and the supplier ledger shows the amount due. Payments made reduce the balance.

How much does the inventory module cost?

Inventory & Purchase is ₹299/month with a 14-day free trial. It is also included in Complete LaSha OS at ₹2,999/month. Prices exclude GST.
